Deacon John Ruscheinsky was ordained to the diaconate at Our Lady of Lourdes Cathedral on June 24th 1999, the feast of St. John the Baptist. He is appointed and serving as the director of Immaculate Heart Retreat Center since 1998. He also has taken Pastoral Counseling Studies with the Pontifical College Josephenium out of Columbus Ohio and offers spiritual direction as retreat director of the Diocese of Spokane. Deacon John has served in ministry as a Hospice Chaplain for 10 years.
He is married to Elaine and has 3 daughters that they have raised together.
